Repousse copper charger by the master metalworker John Pearson. With central motif of a standing peacock and the outer rim with stylised peacocks, that ever popular Arts and Crafts emblem. Beautiful time-aged patina. Full signature to the rear.

John Pearson is one of the greats of the English Arts and Crafts movement. A multidisciplinary designer and maker, he co-founded the Guild of Handicrafts before heading down to Industrial School in Newlyn, Cornwall.
